The musicians are named Ketil and Ulrik, they are also known as Norwegian indie-electronic duo. Which I find it pretty cool, their styles are constant shifts of noise and adding a mixture of sound from Royksopp, Daft Punk and Deadmaus. They are both nineteen years old pursuing a career in the music world and they have finished their tour
Their recent EP album is called The Friendly Soundly, released in 2010
When I first heard their single "Blue shift" I felt an upbeat and it was giving me a playful vibe. Blue shift is more light and melodic when it comes to their use of high pitch beep as the melody. Also the song had some vocals that are modded to sound robotic, or "raspy electronic" but it was the original vocalists that used the effect to make it sound like the samples from Daft punk. Here is their music video
There is more that never seize to amaze me. Also inspired from London music and culture, they use samples and mixed at random intervals that will make you feel off guard with the beat, yet it still makes sense with rhythm and tone. The style that young "Madeon" would play his music.
I hope all of you can enjoy their music and admire their creativity. They have been inspired by many European electronica musicians.
