Jeff Leblanc takes the spotlight on MTV
Meet Jeff Leblanc, a growing musician whose style consists of mellow, calm and romantic tune to his music.
People who had heard of him often praised him as the "New John Mayer"
From Long Island, NY, Jeff began his music career during his senior year in High School. His ambition has led him to a favorable audience at local bars, coffee houses and outdoors. He took the risk on performing outside a local restaurant without consent and to his surprise the owner of the bar invited him back and actually paid him. This is one of the childhood stories that relates to most musicians who go out and act. people at the restaurant including the owner actually enjoyed his music and his voice was perfectly in tune. Jeff went to Sacred Heart University in Connecticut and studied History but still dedicate his love for music in his spare time. He toured around to different college campus and I happened to have met him at the Florida International University during the Pringles campus tour.
Recently Jeff Leblanc has been given praise by MTV music.
And his new single "Heart of Gold" is an amazing piece describing his triumph to become a better man.
This acoustic hit is now available on the MTV radio website. Just simply RIGHT click on the link and save it.
It's free and it's worth downloading.

Pop Punk and Reggae? I like the sound of that
Summer is ending, and Fall is around the corner. Let's end this blog with one of the bands that I got a chance to meet at Warped Tour 2012.
Introducing a band unique for it's style and the story of everybody's life, Ballyhoo.
After their hyped up performance at Warped Tour, I met up with the vocalists Howi Spangler to interview him and his band. To be honest, I had the urge to ask him a personal question, but he knew it as if it wasn't something he doesn't hear every time a fan goes up to him.
Me: "I don't know if you get this a lot, but.... *Howi interrupts*
Howi: "Say it, I bet I know what you're going to say"
Me: "Do people ever thought of you as Neal Patrick Harris singing and grooving to reggae?"
Him and his bands bursts into laughter and they shouted out the numbers of how many times people have asked him or said that to him.
"Yea, it was pretty humorous how I have look alike in the process of touring" Every year Vans Warped Tour takes place at West Palm Beach, Florida. And Ballyhoo was featured as the band at Warped Tour.
Ballyhoo, is a band that has a style of Pop Punk, and Reggae mixed, a music that gathers people around and feel good, in a sense that it's more like a party and lively. Currently they are still touring and they have released their new album called "Daydreams"
It is definitely a must, to listen to their hit single called "Last Night" and Say I'm wrong.
Here is their new music video "Say I'm wrong" my personal favorite and it could be yours too. I hope you enjoy this blog as a much as I love sharing this.

Love Royksopp? Daft Punk? Deadmaus? or moby?
Lately, I haven't been posting much on this website in a long time. But now that I'm back, I am happy to share one of a kind, electronica musician, I introduce you "Lemaitre"
The musicians are named Ketil and Ulrik, they are also known as Norwegian indie-electronic duo. Which I find it pretty cool, their styles are constant shifts of noise and adding a mixture of sound from Royksopp, Daft Punk and Deadmaus. They are both nineteen years old pursuing a career in the music world and they have finished their tour
Their recent EP album is called The Friendly Soundly, released in 2010
When I first heard their single "Blue shift" I felt an upbeat and it was giving me a playful vibe. Blue shift is more light and melodic when it comes to their use of high pitch beep as the melody. Also the song had some vocals that are modded to sound robotic, or "raspy electronic" but it was the original vocalists that used the effect to make it sound like the samples from Daft punk. Here is their music video
There is more that never seize to amaze me. Also inspired from London music and culture, they use samples and mixed at random intervals that will make you feel off guard with the beat, yet it still makes sense with rhythm and tone. The style that young "Madeon" would play his music.
I hope all of you can enjoy their music and admire their creativity. They have been inspired by many European electronica musicians.

Amy Kuney
I've been listening to many people singing covers on youtube, and what is very unique about people singing covers is the fact despite its lack of originality, I think the voice is very different, and sometimes it might even sound better. Aside from people singing covers, I'm more into people who have established their own uniqueness by singing their original songs, and they share it to the world.
I stumbled upon a musician named Amy Kuney, her voice is vibrantly powerful. When I saw her on youtube, she started off singing with some of her friends and one of her songs (which I believe was a hit to my ears) was "Simple Things" I enjoyed the style that incorporate a calming piano melody and then her voice brings in the gradual sound to the chorus. Right now I wanted to share my favorite song by Amy Kuney called "Gasoline Rainbow" I interpreted this song as a metaphor, a metaphor that hope is undying and flawless, even in a relationship, they say it will never last forever, but there's always a way to prove every theory wrong. Even if bad things occur, there will always be hope trailing from rain, (as interpreted the rainbow).
Anyways, please do enjoy this song and I hope you all will have a great day ^_^

New M83 Album "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming"
While I was online watching (substituting my itunes) youtube music, the commercial came up before the video played. It was the emusic advertisement, which they're comparable to beatport or billboards chart rating website, they also advertise new music. I've stumbled upon a band called M83 and I've never heard of their complete album but after hearing several of their previews I was intrigued by the unique style of music they have created. First song that I decided to look up from their album using youtube was *apparently* their hit single.
"Midnight City"
This song reminds me of the old 90's beat and also it has the kind of feeling of tranquility, but at the same time its quite upbeat, I find this song style almost similar to the ones created by Passion Pit, a boston electropop music band.
The interesting part of the music is the trumpet blaring the solo part near the end and to be honest, I felt the vibe of the 90's yet I can still feel the modern touch to it.
Without even looking them up from Wiki, I think M83 has some influence in their style from MGMT, U2, and maybe Passion Pit, which I like them all. But other than that I recommend looking at the video, disregard the creepy stare of the boy in the video.
Oh and the funny part about the music is that it was advertised in a way to show the scientific results of dreams while listening to their music. I chuckled a bit because part of me actually believed it and oh how I love satire. Emusic was trying to exaggerate how effective music can be when listeners sleep

First post as a music lover
It all started out from a blog about my feelings, and every time I type up a blog, I would have my earphones in my ears and a music radio website called Pandora playing new songs that would soon be my favorite song.
Why did I choose to blog? I think my voice could be a great aspect to the society. This may sound broad and too general, but I'm also trying to get out of my comfort zone and start reading and typing blogs. My voice is something that should be put to good use and I will do my best to provide good insights or opinions on the music that I will discover.
Also I am always open to other people's opinion and when I do post something about a music or the musician, please feel free to insert your opinions too. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I think it is worth knowing and learning from everyone ^_^
Anyways, Happy Holidays and Happy New Years to you and I hope in the future, this blog will be huge!
